SAVEOURSTUDIOS and the artists in Fort Point have done it again– they “sod­ded” the side­walk of the dilap­i­dat­ed Sum­mer Street bridge over Fort Point Chan­nel– and i took some pic­tures

The city counts side­walks as open space result­ing in dimin­ished park space . The green­ing of the Sum­mer street bridge rep­re­sents the meet­ing of the two def­i­n­i­tions of open space: the city’s side­walk and the neighborhood’s park.
