We spent New Year’s Eve this year co-hosting a potluck dinner at Jason and Liz’s place in Park Slope. Here is a little video that I put together:
We served roast beef to twenty people, drank champale, and made some resolutions that we probably won’t keep. More below the fold, including some of my and Lisa’s photos.
Lisa took this excellent photo of me about to carve my standing rib – six bones, 13.5 lbs. (before we dry aged it and cooked it). It tasted like buttah.
This is what dinner for 20 or so looks like.
Fun with the probe thermometer, which, incidentally, is the best invention ever.
Near the end of the night, taken by Lisa.
Jason outdid himself, tarping in the back deck, and borrowing his brother’s propane heater.
