Gondry’s Flight of the Conchords

The first four episodes of season two of Flight of the Conchords were uninspired and forgettable, but that all changed with episode five. Directed by Michel Gondry, the Conchords return to the top with two great songs – the Sausagefest anthem Too Many Dicks on the Dance Floor, and an ode to Jemaine’s ex-girlfriends titled Carol Brown.

I’m just catching up on this season now, but episode six has Kristen Wiig from SNL… omgz!

The Weekender

This is a pretty good parody of the New York Times Weekender commercials, that play on basic cable stations throughout the Tri-State area and New England. Appearances by Paul Rudd, Eugene Mirman, and The State/Stella alumni Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter and David Wain. It makes me want to go see some comedy at 92YTribeca.

Also, I must find something besides the Times to blog about.

Sacha Baron Cohen Crashes the Catwalk at Milan Fashion Week

Ali G and Borat might have been put to rest, but comedian Sacha Baron Cohen seems to now be working on a Brüno movie, based on his gay Austrian model character.

Earlier today, he caused a ruckus when he crashed the catwalk at Milan Fashion Week, dressed in a ridiculously funny costume. The photos and video look hilarious.

Inside Obama’s Emails

In the wake of Sarah Palin’s email account hack, The Onion brings you Inside Obama’s Emails. Funny, but I thought John McCain didn’t know how to do the e-mail? [via Jason]

Yearbook Yourself

Yearbook Yourself

Upload a photo of yourself, and they’ll take it from there – 1970, 1976, and 1986 respectively.

I had a lot of fun playing with Yearbook Yourself, a site that will take your boring headshot and turn it into embarrassing yearbook photos that never were.

The truly amazing thing is that the 1970 composite (left) is a dead-ringer for my Dad around that time. This is what my mom kind of looked like in the early 60s.
